Our Inspiration

At the heart of our journey lies a deep and abiding belief in the power of connection. We believe that the world needs to be connected on an equal footing, where we can interact with each other as individuals without money, politics or power at play. We see our travels as a way of breaking down barriers, fostering understanding, and forging meaningful connections between people from all walks of life.

Our dogs are central to our vision for a more compassionate and empathetic world. We believe that animals have a unique ability in propagating our humanity and our sense of empathy and compassion towards each other, living creatures and the environment. By travelling with our furry companions, we hope to inspire others to see the value in animal companionship and the positive impact it can have on our lives.

We also believe that adventure is essential to our personal growth and our ability to dream big. We see adventure as a catalyst for creativity and ingenuity, as well as a way of breaking down monotony. By embracing the unknown and stepping outside our comfort zones, we hope to inspire others to pursue their passions and live life to the fullest.

Our journey and our experiences have inspired us to write a series of books about our travels with our furry companions. Through these books, we hope to share our message of connection, compassion, and adventure with a wider audience. By sharing our stories, we hope to inspire others to tackle new experiences and deepen their appreciation of the world around us. We urge everyone to approach each day with kindness and a positive attitude and to encourage and uplift those around them to do the same.

The Pack Track Unleashed

The Pack Track Unleashed is the first instalment in our series of books, documenting  our early adventures in Australia where our passion for exploration was just starting to take shape. Driven by a desire to see the world in a unique and meaningful way, we packed up our belongings and set out on an epic motorcycle journey. Starting in the USA, we'll guide you through the twists and turns of our journey as we crossed through Mexico, Central America, and South America. Along the way, we'll share the highlights of our travels, from the incredible landscapes to the fascinating people we met, and we'll also delve into the more difficult moments, including the loss of our beloved Skyla. This book is a testament to the beauty and unpredictability of the open road, and we can't wait to share it with you.

The Pack Track Stowaways

The Pack Track Stowaways picks up in South America with the adoption of Negrita (road name Weeti) and the arrival of Shadow. Weeti and Shadow were both unexpected and poles apart from Skyla but they needed us as much as we needed them. Somehow we found ourselves on a flight from Bogota to Florida with two pet crates and an overwhelming sense of "Oh my goodness, what have we got ourselves in for" again. Together, the four of us explore the Americas. You'll be transported to ancient ruins in Mexico and Peru, witness incredible wildlife encounters, and feel the thrill of standing at the top of Niagara Falls. This story culminates with a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.

Our Goal

Our goal is to raise $45,000 to cover our modest living expenses for the six months while we write, as well as the expenses for editing, publishing, and distributing the books and rewards.

Why six months? To meet the quarantine requirements for pets set by the Australian government, our dogs need to be in an approved country for the six months prior to entering Australia. Proximity, availability of pet sits, and ease of travel and shipping makes North America an ideal location. This is an incredible opportunity for us to kickstart our books over a period where we won’t be travelling. This six-month period will be devoted solely to writing our books and making our dream a reality.
